These are a few of my favorite things- summer edition

Welcome to another “these are a few of my favorite things” blog post! I want to share with you my top 10 favorite summer necessities! I get asked a lot about the products I use and can be seen in my instagram stories so I decided to share them!

#1 wtw Cultivate Joy

If you know me and especially if you follow me on Instagram you have seen me share my daily Write the Word Journal entry. I have been through hope, faith, finishing refresh now, and will be going through Cultivate Joy this summer! First off its beautiful yellow cover screams summer, but summer is also a time of joy and fun- which makes this journal the perfect devotional!

#2 Sunhats

I LOVE sun hats! I have quite a collection but my absolute FAVORITE sun hat is the one pictured below. It has an open top and is foldable (perfect for traveling!) When I get a lot of sun my hair turns from auburn to a gold strawberry blonde color. I love getting sun on my hair but don’t want to burn my face- this is the perfect solution!

#3 Bright Nail Polish

I am really into doing my nails and do them every week. I separate my nail polish into seasons and summer is one of my favorites because I have a reason to wear bright neon colors!

#4 Summer Tanks from the LTCIL Collection!

We have brand new tanks in the shop!

#5 Sunscreen

I am very white, and cannot tan…. I just burn. I find that the 100 SPF sunscreen works best and neutrogena spray doesn’t make me feel as greasy as the lotion. It is oil free and I typically can apply most of it myself outside of my back even with joint limitations.

#6 Two Piece Bathing Suit

I fell in LOVE with this bathing suit last year and even though they don’t carry the olive color I got they still have multiple colors. It is very flattering on all body types and very true to size. I do love bikinis but as I had just said above I burn easily so the more of me that’s covered the better!

#7 Metal Serving Tray

This tray is SO sturdy. I typically use it for planting and transporting succulents but I also have used it as a tea tray (it complements the china beautifully!) They don’t sell the exact one I am showing here but the wooden one I linked is the same size and I am actually planning on purchasing it as its so cute!

#8 Romper

I am not normally a romper person but this is SO comfortable and breathable. It has pockets and comes in 17 different colors/patterns. They also have this available in a jumpsuit, rompers with a tank top style, and short sleeve rompers.

#9 Waffle Blanket

I love blankets and prefer to have one on almost all the time, but in summer I don’t want to wear anything heavy; so my favorite blankets are waffle blankets because they don’t get very hot. They also double great as picnic blankets!

#10 Simply Modern 24 oz Tumbler

I know this one was in my last set of favorite things but it is especially amazing in the summer time. My ice stays in there completely frozen for an entire 24 hours (even if my cup is in the hot car), and it is a good size. It also comes with the flip top option and the straw option. I have one in ombre: sweet taffy.
