Q3 Refresh + July Tending List

Before we move onto July, I want to share a few moments and progress updates from June:

#1: I am seeing significant progress as my ankle heals from a massive reconstructive surgery! So, so grateful! I also sat at my desk for the first time since surgery in March!

#2: Jared and I celebrated 10 years together as a couple – it’s amazing how time has flown by!

#3: I hosted the Summer Refresh + Reset as we prepared for the new quarter, and we had the best time!

#4: I dove into the Fresh Start Powersheets as I have been using 90 Day Powersheets as a secondary TL for Grace + Goals (want to learn how I use 2 sets of Powersheets, head to this blog post here!)

Q3: My Summer Refresh

This quarter, I am leaning back into my 2023 yearly goals as I am leaning back into my life after a quarter focused on recovering and healing. So I took my 2023 Goals and focused in on making a clear focused mini-goal for each. I also prioritized these goals as top being most important in this season and bottom being least focused on. I was able to break these goals down further through Refresh + Reset – especially with the added G+G Refresh Wildcard Pages!

Before we get into my Tending Lists, I want to share a reminder below as you open your Powersheets (P.S. Don’t know what Powersheets are? Start Here!)

Remember there is no wrong way to use your powersheets, but I do encourage you to be YOU on these pages (whether you use all the stickers and colors or go with a simplified blank and white look – YOU DO YOU!) Seeing other’s Powersheets should be something that inspires us not invalidate or discourage us!

My July Tending List

Now onto July’s Tending List! This month my top priority is to Plan, Prepare, and Pursue Progress.

“Every flower blooms in it’s own time”

Monthly Goals:

  • G+G Goals: I use the Fresh Start Daily Powersheets (90 Day) to track my platform goals in a more detailed fashion. This goal is a check-in I have built into my Yearly PS Tending List as a monthly action item to mark my progress on all of my Grace + Goals monthly action items.
  • Day to Dream: I set aside a day a month, used to quarterly, to map out and break down my goals. Setting aside an entire work day for this has given me great clarity!
  • GAPR Pages: Every quarter, when I refresh my goals, I use the G+G Goal Action Planning Wildcards so I need to break down each of my refreshed goals this month. (want more details? head here!)
  • August Goal Prep: I will be prepping both my G+G Tending List and my Powersheets to get ready for a new month. I can’t wait to dig in and as always we PSP Gals get together at the end of the month to close out the current month and make our tending lists for the upcoming month! Easily the best part of my month!
  • Date Night Out: We are finally getting back to “normal” here and will, hopefully, have our first date night out since march!
  • Budget: Likewise, we are finally getting back into our regular life, and now that we are, I need to update our budget.
  • Celebrate our People: This month holds many birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations that I want to soak up!
  • Delight in our Siblings: I want to cultivate deeper relationships with all of our siblings, so I am working to call/spend time with each sibling each month.

Weekly Goals:

  • Plan this Week Ahead: Jared and I weekly check in as a couple by time-blocking our week (on the custom whiteboard we made based off of the Intentional Weekly Notepad we both love!), and then my separate time that I set aside to plan out my week. Due to the fact that my health has drastically impacted my productivity instead of time blocking, I am continuing to do what I call “task blocking.” I am look at the most important pressing tasks and block of what day I hope to achieve those!
  • Nourish + Water the Garden: Each week I water my indoor garden, and I add plant food to the garden bed each week.
  • Love Jared Well: We aim to spend intentional time together without our phones at least once a week.
  • Facetime J: I love setting aside time to virtually visit with my sister while we are living apart.
  • Church: Jared and I want to be better on top of watching church, and so we decided me adding it to my tending list was a great way to keep us accountable. (In our weekly planning session, we also time block where Church is going to be held.)
  • Soak Up the Sunshine: I aim to get out in the sunshine at least once a week (as long as it isn’t over 80 degrees (lol)

Daily Goals: I use my daily goals more as a habit tracker than a strict goal and it gives me more freedom in seasons of uncertainty.

  • Check TL: Check both Tending List’s, especially my G+G TL, daily to making sure I am checking into all my goals via my yearly set of Powersheets and my Fresh Start 90 day PS!
  • Plan the Day: Before I start my day, I make sure that I have a plan laid out or at least have a task list ready to go, so I can use the daily spread in the Fresh Start PS intentionally.
  • Victory Log: I religiously use the “Quarterly Celebrate Every Tiny Victory” Wildcard to log one victory a day!
  • Check Garden: I love gathering new blooms and checking in on the garden each day to water, nourish, trim or gather!
  • Prayer First: I don’t want to open social media before taking time to pray because the only one who can truly change most situations completely is Jesus and so I need to start my day by fighting the battles in this life “on my knees.”
  • Quiet Time: I either want to be digging into God’s Word through reading the Bible Chronologically or in my current Write the Word Journal: Cultivate Wisdom
  • Little by Little: Rather than using the the Little by Little Journal  to highlight how God is moving in my life, I am using my monthly calendar in my yearly PS to write down one way that I saw God’s faithfulness that day. I’ve been doing this since the start of 2021 and love it!

Fresh Start Powersheets Tending List

Again these are my “work” Powersheets for all things Grace + Goals. It’s almost like a glorified break it down!

For the past year, I have been using Quarterly PS (this quarter, I have switched the 90 Day Powersheets for the Fresh Start [90 Day] Powersheets) for all of my Grace + Goals projects and goals in addition to my Yearly Powersheets for my personal goals.

I cannot stress this enough: if you are NOT consistently utilizing and updating your Tending List/PS, you will not be able to consistently keep 2 Tending Lists. I share all the details here!

My Wildcards

As always I use the quarterly Celebrate Every Tiny Victory wildcard. This wildcard changed my life because even when life isn’t going the way I planned or hoped, I can see that every day still holds at least one victory no matter how small.

Want to download this wildcard? Head to the Wildcard Library in the button below!

In the CWM Shop, the Intentional Living product/ Powersheets Accessory I am most loving right now are the “Magnetic Bookmarks | Motivational Page Markers” I am obsessed with these and am using pretty much all of them!
